Dr. Jing Pan is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida. Dr. Pan earned his B.S. (2011) in Energy and Power Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. He received his PhD (2017) from Purdue University in Mechanical Engineering. He conducted his postdoctoral research (2018–2019) at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Macromolecular machines; directed evolution; self-assembly and self-organization; bio-nanotechnology; synthetic biology; medical technology.
Teaching Interests
Heat and mass transfer; classical and statistical thermodynamics; modern optics and imaging system engineering; biodesign.
